Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to information when you read fardexuno.com. The site is a static set of pages about Android puzzle games. It has no accounts, no shopping basket, no comment section and no contact form, which keeps the answer short: almost nothing is collected, and what is collected exists because a web server cannot serve a page without it.

The site is operated in Canada and follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and, where they apply, Ontario privacy rules.

1. Who is responsible

The site is run by an individual, not a company:

The same address answers privacy questions, correction requests and takedown notices. There is no separate privacy department, because there is one person.

2. What is actually collected

Two things, and no others.

Server logs

The hosting provider records each request to the site: the IP address it came from, the user-agent string your browser sends, the page requested, the time and the response code. These entries are produced by the web server itself and are used to keep the site up and to see whether something is broken or being hammered by a bot. The lawful basis under PIPEDA is the legitimate need to operate and secure the service.

Email you send

If you write to the address above, the message and whatever you put in it — your name, your email address, the text of your question — sits in a mailbox until it is dealt with. Nothing on this site collects that information; you supply it by starting the conversation yourself.

There is no form on any page of this site, no newsletter sign-up, no account creation and no upload. If a page ever appears to ask you for personal details, it is not one of ours.

An order for the notebook

The site offers one paid item, a PDF notebook ordered by email. An order adds nothing beyond an ordinary message: the address you wrote from, whatever name you sign with, and, once payment is made, the reference your bank attaches to an Interac e-Transfer. No card number, expiry date or security code is ever seen by this site or by its owner — an e-Transfer passes entirely between your bank and his, and there is no payment page here for one to be typed into.

3. What it is used for

  • Keeping the site running: spotting errors, broken links and unusual request volumes.
  • Answering email: reading your message, replying to it, and keeping the thread long enough to make sense of a follow-up.
  • Filling an order: replying with transfer details, confirming the payment arrived, and sending the file to the address the order came from.
  • Meeting a legal obligation: responding to a lawful request from a Canadian authority, if one ever arrives.

Personal information is never sold, rented, traded or handed to advertisers. Under CASL, no commercial electronic message is sent from this site — there is no mailing list to join, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. A reply to an email you sent is not a marketing message.

4. Cookies

One cookie exists on this site. It stores the answer you give the cookie banner so the banner stops appearing, and it holds nothing else — no identifier, no history, no profile. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag and no third-party script of any kind on any page. The Cookie Notice lists the cookie by name, purpose and lifetime, and gives you a way to change your answer.

5. Links that leave this site

Pages here discuss mobile games that are distributed by third parties, primarily through the Google Play Store. Where a link points off this domain, the destination is run by someone else under their own privacy policy and their own rules. This policy stops at the edge of fardexuno.com. Read the policy of any store or developer before you install software or hand over details there.

6. Storage and how long things are kept

The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit. Administrative access to the hosting account is restricted to the owner. Server logs are kept for a short operational window — a matter of weeks — and then rotated out by the host. Email correspondence is kept for up to twenty-four months so that a returning question makes sense in context, then deleted. Ask for earlier deletion and it will be done.

Order correspondence sits on the same twenty-four month footing, kept a little more deliberately than a general enquiry because a buyer who loses the file a year later ought to be able to ask again and be recognised. Ask for it to go sooner and it goes.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can:

  • ask whether any personal information about you is held here, and receive a copy of it;
  • ask for a correction where something held about you is wrong or out of date;
  • withdraw consent where processing rests on consent, subject to legal limits and reasonable notice;
  • ask for your correspondence to be deleted.

Write to [email protected] and say which of these you want. A reply normally arrives within a couple of business days and the request itself is dealt with within thirty days, which is the PIPEDA response window.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and, for matters falling under Ontario legislation, to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. Neither requires you to go through us first.

8. Changes to this page

If the site changes in a way that affects any of the above, this page is edited and the date at the top is moved. Nothing here is applied retroactively to information already deleted.
